Professional Experience

System Engineer Windows , Citrix & VmWare @ KBC Global Services 2008-Present

    After spending a few years in managing, maintaining and improving the KBC Monitoring Environment, i decided it was time for a new challenge. There was an opening in de KBC Windows, Citrix & VMWare team where i learned to work & manage the following technologies:
  • Windows 2003 - Windows 2008 (R2)
  • Citrix 4.5 - Citrix 6.5
  • Vmware 3.5 - Vmware 4.1
    • During this period i mainly focussed on migrating Citrix 4.5 to XenApp 6.5 and introducing Windows 2008 R2 into KBC. This included building and managing a system stack for this environment.

Monitoring & Tooling Specialist @ KBC Global Services 2001 - 2008

    During a period of 7 years i specialised in monitoring Business Application servers. In these 7 years i specialised in providing third line support for the following technologies:

Visual Basic Developer @ KBC Global Services 1999 - 2001

    During the first 2 years at KBC Global Services is spent my time as a Visual Basic Programmer. I designed & developed a tool in order to speed up the registrations made by first line support. In the past they used a slow mainframe interface. The tool i created was a screenscraping tool with a graphical user interface that brought the first line support team into the 21st century. The tool gave the preprogrammed conditions & a high quality of standardised registrations.

Technical Coördinator Webteam @ YR KV Mechelen 2005-Present

    At Yellow Red KV Mechelen I work on a voluntary bases for the Webteam. My function here is that of the cöordinator of the technical cel which means i am responsible for making sure the technical IT things are done which were requested by the commercial managers of the club. The following technincal things are managed by the Webteam:
  • The official website of KV Mechelen
  • Until 2011 : the offical online fanshop of KV Mechelen
  • The email functionality of KV Mechelen
  • The tools used by the club to gather and share information with the supporters: newsletters, surveytools etc.
  • The online document management tools
  • Communication with the IT partners

Webmaster @ Tupperware Concessie Michielsen 2011-Present

    On voluntary basis, I decided to help out friends with the IT in their company. They needed a professional company website and a way to share information with and between Tupperware Consultants. Therefore i created the website with forum & cms below.

IT Manager @ Hondenschool KOVAH 2005-Present

    As a member of the organisation of "Hondenschool KOVAH" i am responsible for the IT Management of the club. This means in the first place the design & maintenance of the website.
